Carbon Development Corporation ("Carbon Development") is an energy development company that uses proprietary technology to provide low cost solutions for energy production and to clean flue gases to meet reduced federal and state air emission limits for NOX, SO2, particulate matter and mercury. The capital and operating costs of these technologies are lower than competing technologies, and it is the intent of the company to provide these solutions to permit customers to escape the high cost of oil and natural gas fuel sources.

Carbon Development was originally formed to develop and market a low cost coal gasification system which emits reduced levels of SO2, NOX, and particulate emissions compared with traditional combustors. Under its intellectual property rights agreement, Carbon Development can retrofit electric generation facilities and steam production facilities. The company has expanded its fleet of technologies to include other proprietary technologies to provide additional solutions to power and steam production facilities. Carbon Development intends to utilize opportunity fuels which can often be acquired at a discount compared to oil and natural gas.

Carbon Development technologies can meet or exceed the emission limits for SO2 and NOX as promulgated under federal and state legislation, including the Clean Air Act Amendments (CAAA) of 1990 and more recent legislation and regulations.
